Warm fuzzies at work #2

Today's bit o'appreciation is going to sound like a suck-up. But it's not. I'm grateful that leadership actually wants to hear from us. Aside from an all-the-time, open-door climate, "tough questions" are solicited on a regular basis around here....via a bunch of different venues. I don't think employees really come out with all the questions they would like to ask, but they should. My gut tells me that the request for conversation isn't just a token offer. I think our managers, directors, VPs, and CEO genuinely want to know what sorts of things are eatin' at us. That being said, though, I did submit a question-for-answering which did NOT get addressed in a meeting today. I asked... "If I weren't me, would I be someone else or would I just not exist?"

I think that's a pretty tough question.
